Bobby Frist Jr.

Robert A. Frist, Jr. is the Chairman and CEO of HealthStream, which has grown to be the nation’s largest ecosystem of workforce solutions in the healthcare industry. After taking the Company public in 2000 as a dot-com start-up, the network of customers using HealthStream now is about 75% of U.S. hospitals and health systems. Under Mr. Frist’s leadership, the Company has earned 18 patents and been recognized with dozens of awards, including the prestigious Smithsonian “ComputerWorld Award” for using technology for the betterment of society. He was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” for the southeastern region by Ernst & Young, while being repeatedly named one of the “Most Admired CEOs” among public companies. Mr. Frist was a founding board member of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and is currently a board member of the Nashville Health Care Council, where he was formerly the Chairman.
